JAMES W. BRODSKY, MD

Clinical Director, Dallas Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship

Dr. James Brodsky, a native of Houston, completed his undergraduate work at Harvard and attended Case Western Medical School. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine Hospitals in Houston, followed by a one-year Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Los Angeles, California, at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center, and The Orthopaedic Hospital, at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Brodsky is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, having been board-certified and re-certified in orthopedic surgery. He is the past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.

Dr. Brodsky He is the Founder and Past Program Director of the Dallas Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center and UTSWMC. in Dallas and Texas A&M Health Science College of Medicine. He is Director of the Dallas Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship Program at Baylor University Medical Center and UTSWMC. He has trained orthopaedic foot & ankle specialists from across the United States and around the world.

In addition to patient care and teaching duties, Dr. Brodsky maintains a busy schedule of clinical and basic research. He is a frequent speaker at national and international orthopaedic CME courses and conferences. He publishes articles in renowned orthopaedic journals, and is a contributing author of many textbooks on foot and ankle surgery.
